OBJECTS of
SPED
4. The Foundation objects are for public
benefit and charitable purposes, in seeking to promote the
prevention and control of psychological diseases in human
beings and therefore setting out to ultimately create the
Ideal Human Environment (IHE).
4.1 In support of these objects, the
Foundation may carry out any of the following:-
4.1.1 research how to detect, prevent or treat
psychological diseases and develop cross-disciplinary methods
of doing so;
4.1.2 conduct intensive research into the
cause of psychological disease and investigate the causal
connection, if any, between psychological disease and physical
disease;
4.1.3 record, promote and make known the
discoveries of the research through such mediums as the
publication and distribution of papers, journals, electronic
mediums, Theses, book publications and any other means the
Board considers appropriate or necessary.
4.1.4 provide information about prevention or
control to sufferers of psychological disease, carers and the
public by conducting education/promotional activities or
projects or by any means thought desirable;
4.1.5 make available training or advise to
carers and health professionals as to the methods of
controlling, preventing and treating psychological
diseases;
4.1.6 develop co-operative and
cross-disciplinary approaches to deal with the control and
prevention of psychological and physical diseases;
4.1.7 provide support, stability, treating,
caring or assistance for persons suffering from psychological
disease with financial support, emotional counselling, mentor
provision or any other support deemed appropriate;
4.1.8 pursue such other functions and
activities as are consistent with or incidental to these
objects.
FUNCTIONS of
SPED
5. The functions of the Foundation
are:
5.1 to provide, co-ordinate, fundraise,
arrange or lobby for the provision of resources and services
for the carrying out of its objects;
5.2 to operate and fund a research team that
functions 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, whose purpose is to
research human psychological disease by studying a
cross-section of human behaviour in a variety of social and
physical conditions, circumstances and
environments;
5.3 to fund members of the research team
undertaking study (from primary through to tertiary) for the
purpose of furthering and disseminating the
research;
5.4 to raise funds by any lawful means and to
invest, apply and disburse such funds by or for any lawful
means or purpose in a manner consistent with its
objects;
5.5 to acquire and/or manage property,
including real property for the purpose of furthering and in a
manner consistent with the objects;
5.6 to acquire and/or manage property,
including real property for the purpose of raising funds to
apply towards the objects;
5.7 to acquire and/or manage any legacies and
bequests, or any property, including real
property. |
